There's a difference between being good at your craft and becoming a true leader in the wellness space. Here's what that transition actually looks like — and what becomes possible when you step into it.

You are good at what you do.

Really good. You didn't stumble into this work — you went all in. You built the clients, the reputation, the practice that people in your community trust and return to. You show up. You deliver. You hold space in a way that genuinely changes people.

And still. Something in you knows there's more.

Not more clients. Not more certifications. Not more of the same thing you've already mastered.

Something deeper. A next level of the work you can feel but haven't been able to fully step into yet.

Here's what I want to offer you today — not as a pitch, but as a truth I've watched play out over and over again in the women who find their way into this work:

The gap between where you are and where you feel called to go is not a skills gap.

It's an identity gap.

And it cannot be closed by learning more things.

Wellness Professional vs. Wellness Leader

There are a lot of wellness professionals in the world.

People who are skilled, dedicated, genuinely good at what they do. Who show up for their clients, hold space with care, and have built something real in their communities.

And then there are wellness leaders.

The distinction isn't about credentials. It's not about how many certifications hang on the wall or how many years someone has been in practice. It's not even about how successful the business is.

It's about something quieter and harder to name.

The wellness professional serves from her skillset.

The wellness leader serves from her self.

From the embodied understanding of the work that lives in her body, not just her mind. From the capacity to hold space not because she's been trained to — but because she has done the real work of becoming someone who can. From the kind of presence in a room that people feel before they can name what it is.

You already have the skillset. You've had it for years.

What TEW School of Sound and Yoga exists to cultivate is the leader.

What That Transition Actually Looks Like

I want to tell you about Maddi.

Not because her story is exceptional. Because it's the clearest illustration I have of what becomes possible when someone steps into a container that takes her seriously enough to pull out what's already in her.

Maddi came to the TEW Hybrid 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Synergy Retreat Center in 2024 as a massage therapy exchange student. She wasn't the lead participant. She was there in a supporting role — offering bodywork, showing up for the container.

Within two weeks, she was standing at the front of the room leading a portion of the curriculum.

Speaking on Ayurveda — a subject she has spent years not just studying but living — with the kind of embodied authority that cannot be faked or performed. Every word she said came from somewhere real. The room felt it immediately.

She wasn't delivering information.

She was transmitting wisdom.

That moment is not something I engineered. The container simply created the conditions for what was already in her to emerge.

Today Maddi is an assistant teacher for the TEW 50-Hour Sound Practitioner Training and Retreat. She leads vocal coaching, ceremony creation, space holding, and energy cleansing. She guides the morning reflection and integration circles and the women's circle that holds the container together between the deeper teaching sessions.

And she is leading her own trainings and  retreats in Colorado.

Building her own container. Creating her own community. Becoming — in her own community — the kind of presence that people feel before they can name what it is.

From exchange student to assistant teacher to retreat leader.

In a year.

That is not a testimonial. That is a trajectory.

The Container That Creates Leaders

This is what I mean when I say TEW is an incubator.

Not a training program that delivers content and sends graduates home with a certificate. A living container that identifies what's already in someone — the leadership, the wisdom, the capacity — and creates the conditions for it to fully emerge.

And here's the part I need you to hear:

What emerged in Maddi was not something I gave her. It was already in her. She just needed a container big enough to hold it.

The same is true of you.

The leader you feel called to become is not waiting on the other side of another skill. She is not going to appear after the next training or the next certification or the next year of doing the same work you've already mastered.

She is already in you.

She has been in you since the day you first understood that this work was a calling and not just a career.

She just needs a container that takes her seriously enough to pull her out.

What Becomes Possible in a Year

Less than a year after flying from Sweden to Costa Rica alone, Nina opened her own sound healing studio.

Sold out events. Fully booked courses. A growing community of healers around her. A festival booking. A waitlist.

In her words: "Who would have thought that the girl who thought her whole world was falling apart would be standing here with all this a year later? All because I dared to put myself on that plane alone."

Maddi. Nina. The women who come through this training and go home and build something that didn't exist before they showed up.

This is not coincidence. This is what happens when the leader finally has a container worthy of her.

The October Training

The October 50-Hour Sound Practitioner Training + Retreat in Uvita, Costa Rica — October 25–31 at Synergy Retreat Center — is built for the wellness professional who already knows she is meant for more.

Not the beginner looking for a starting point.

The leader looking for the container that finally pulls out what's already in her.

FIVE If something in this post landed somewhere real — that's worth following.
