The TEW Graduate Letter — Look How Far You’ve Come

A letter to sound healing practitioners and TEW graduates — celebrating how far you’ve come, naming the gap that keeps practitioners stuck, and what’s possible next.

This letter is for you.

Not for the version of you who is perfectly positioned, fully booked, and operating at your highest potential. For the version of you who showed up — maybe nervous, maybe uncertain, maybe a little desperate for something to change — and did the work anyway.

I want to talk to that person for a minute. Because I don’t think she hears enough about how far she’s actually come.

What I see when I look at this community

I see Sara, who came through the very first TEW training and quietly built Breathe Out Collective from the ground up. A real studio. A real home for her community. The kind of thing that exists because one person decided to stop waiting for the right moment and start building.

I see Maddi, who showed up as a student and has become a teacher — leading retreats, holding space, doing the work in a way that makes me proud every single time I watch her.

Nina found me after one email exchange — she had just been let go from her corporate career, booked a flight halfway across the world, and showed up. Less than a year later she opened a sound healing studio in Sweden. I think about her every time someone tells me they’re not sure if this is the right time.

I see the licensed professional counselor who integrated sound healing into her clinical practice and now offers something her clients can’t find anywhere else in her city.

I see the yoga teacher who added this work to her toolkit and completely transformed what she was able to offer — not just to her students, but to herself.

I see the woman who certified with me and then went home to a hard season — a loss, a health thing, a relationship that ended — and still found her way back to the bowls. Slowly. Quietly. On her own timeline.

I see the woman who hasn’t started yet. Who has been orbiting this work for months or years, consuming every email, every post, every piece of content, feeling the pull and not yet following it. She is part of this community too. And I see her.

I want every single one of you to hear this:

What you have built — or are building — matters more than you know.

The places people get stuck

Here’s what I notice after nearly a decade of training practitioners.

The training itself is rarely the problem. People come through TEW and they leave changed. They leave with skills, with frameworks, with a nervous system that has been reorganized by the work. That part works.

What doesn’t always work is what comes after.

They go home. Life rushes back in. The job, the schedule, the obligations that didn’t pause while they were away. The instruments go in the corner. The certification goes on the wall. And the version of themselves who was going to do something real with this work gets filed under when things settle down.

Things don’t settle down. And somewhere underneath the busyness, there’s a quiet grief — the gap between the person they were becoming at the training and the person who came home and stepped back into the same life.

I’m not saying this to make anyone feel bad. I’m saying it because I’ve watched it happen to brilliant, capable, deeply trained practitioners, and I think it’s one of the most common and least talked-about experiences in this space.

You did not fail your training. You got stuck in the gap between having the skills and knowing how to build from them. Those are two different things. And for too long, I sent people home with one and not the other.

That’s the gap the Business of Sound Healing Mastermind was built to close.

What becomes possible on the other side

I want you to dream forward for a minute.

Not in the abstract. Not in the “someday I’ll do something with this” way. Really forward.

What does your practice look like in ninety days if you actually build it? What is your first offer? Who is it for? What does it feel like to lead a session that you designed, priced, and filled — not as a favor, not for free, but as the professional you already are?

What does it feel like to stop treating your sound healing practice as a someday project and start treating it as the business it actually is?

Three months from now it’s January. You could be starting the year already building, already serving clients, already creating the thing you keep telling yourself you’ll do when the time is right.

The time is right now. It has always been right now.

The Business of Sound Healing Mastermind

Three months of direct support. Positioning, pricing, offer creation, visibility, and the actual mechanics of building a sound healing business that sustains you.

For TEW graduates, there’s a code at checkout — TEWGRAD — for an additional 50% off the founding member price. That discount exists because you’ve already done the hardest part. You showed up. You learned the work. You came home changed.

Now let’s build.

I started this letter by saying it’s for the person who showed up and did the work anyway.

If that’s you — whether you graduated last month or three years ago, whether you’re actively building or you haven’t touched your bowls in six months — this letter is yours.

Look how far you’ve come.

Now let’s see where you go next.

With love,
Megan
