So, why do we resist change?

For most of us, it's a deep-seated fear of venturing into uncharted territories. Think about it – the idea of breaking free from our routine, our safe little bubble, can be downright scary. And that's okay.


In our journey of self-discovery, it's crucial to recognize that the fear of change is not solely about any one thing (financial concerns, lack of support, confusion on where to begin); it's an intricate dance with the unknown. 


I’m a victim of that fear, myself! You may see me jetsetting back and forth to Central America without a care in the world – but those are places I’ve been a thousand times and I’m comfortable there now. I know how to move around and how to take care of myself. 


But picture this: I recently found myself faced with the prospect of exploring Kenya for the first time. A country I’ve never been to, roads I’ve never traveled, and experiences I’ve never had. 


The logistical challenges triggered an unexpected wave of anxiety, almost convincing me to abandon the entire adventure.


Literally… the fear of the unknown almost convinced me to scrap the whole Kenya adventure.


The fear of stepping out of our comfort zones, disrupting the familiar rhythm of our lives, can be paralyzing. But, fellow warriors, it's time to dismantle these self-imposed barriers.


Together, let's peel back the layers on why change can be daunting, the barriers we construct around it, and how – spoiler alert – breaking through those barriers can catapult us toward the life we've been yearning for.


How do we navigate through the trepidation that change brings?
